Maldives Wildlife Photograph

There is a wide selection of sealife in the Maldives archipelago, with coral and more than 2,000 different species of fish. This sealife is one of the top reasons why people book Maldives vacation packages over any other location.

However, the islands are quite small, so land reptiles are very rare. There is one gecko species, one agamid lizard, one skink, and one snake species.

See if you can guess what is pictured above… Regardless of whether you are on land or at sea, there are many photo opportunities in and around the Maldives.

    My guess is that this is a agamid lizard. It’s so clever the way that they blend into their surroundings. The Maldives are a great place for keen photographers to add to their portfolios.
